DESCRIPTION:The FOCUS GR Ministry Center/Shepherds of Independence is hosting an Orthodox Men’s Breakfast & Workday on Saturday\, May 16. Men from all GR-area Orthodox parishes are invited and encouraged to attend. \nThis will be a day rooted in fellowship and service—beginning with a shared meal and continuing with hands-on work caring for the grounds of a ministry that serves our neighbors in need. It’s a meaningful way for men across our parishes to come together\, build relationships\, and offer something tangible in love. \nDetails: \n\n1400 Morgan St NW\, Grand Rapids\nPlease arrive between 8:30 and 9:00 AM\nBreakfast and fellowship: 9:00 – 10:00 AM\nOutdoor work: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM\nLunch served: 12:00 – 1:00 PM\nFlexible participation—men are welcome to come for part or all of the day\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat to Bring: \nWe’ll be working outdoors\, including wooded areas\, so please dress accordingly. Long sleeves\, long pants\, and sturdy work boots are recommended. Bug repellent and work gloves are also helpful. \nIf you are able\, please consider bringing tools such as: \n\nRakes\, wheelbarrows\, or garden wagons\nChainsaws\, pole saws\, or loppers\nSpades and shovels\n\nWe may not have enough tools for everyone\, so anything brought will help ensure we can all work effectively.
